Welcome to StudentHub ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StudentHub mobile application and related services (collectively, the "App").

StudentHub is a study companion platform designed to help students organize their academic life through flashcards, study plans, exam tracking, reminders, and gamified learning features.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using StudentHub, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the App and delete your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use StudentHub. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App, and they must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You meet the minimum age requirement
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete

Creating an Account

To access most features of StudentHub, you must create an account. You may register using:

• Email address and password
• Third-party authentication providers (Google, Apple)

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to:

• Use a strong, unique password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Not create multiple accounts for abusive purposes

Account Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated. Inaccurate information may result in suspension or termination of your account.

StudentHub provides the following core services:

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our services, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Modifications to Services

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Using the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or other users' accounts
• Interfering with or disrupting the App's servers or networks
• Uploading viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Harvesting or collecting user information without consent
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation
• Engaging in harassment, bullying, or abusive behavior toward other users
• Posting content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or discriminatory
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App
• Attempting to manipulate leaderboard rankings through fraudulent means

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who violates these Terms, including:

• Removing offending content
• Suspending or terminating accounts
• Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement
• Pursuing legal remedies

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to StudentHub, including flashcards, study plans, notes, and profile information ("User Content").

License Grant

By uploading User Content, you grant StudentHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You represent that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload
• Your content does not infringe on any third-party rights
• Your content complies with these Terms and applicable laws

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without prior notice. We are not obligated to store or back up your content.

Leaderboard Participation

By using StudentHub's gamification features, you agree that certain information may be publicly displayed on leaderboards, including:

• Your display name
• Your profile image (if uploaded)
• Your level and total XP
• Your weekly and global rank
• Your current study streak

Fair Play

Leaderboard rankings must be earned through genuine study activity. Any attempt to manipulate rankings through automated means, fake accounts, or other fraudulent methods will result in immediate disqualification and potential account termination.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of leaderboard participation at any time through your profile settings. Opting out will remove your information from public leaderboards but will not affect your private study data.

Community Posts

StudentHub includes community features where users can post questions, share resources, and engage in discussions. All community posts are subject to moderation.

Moderation

We reserve the right to moderate community content to ensure a safe and productive environment. This includes removing posts that:

• Contain spam or promotional content
• Are off-topic or irrelevant
• Contain hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
• Share copyrighted material without permission
• Contain misinformation or academic dishonesty

Reporting

Users may report inappropriate content or behavior through the in-app reporting feature. We will review reports promptly and take appropriate action.

StudentHub uses push notifications to deliver study reminders, exam alerts, and important announcements. By using the App, you consent to receiving these notifications.

You may disable push notifications at any time through:

• Your device's system settings
• The in-app notification preferences

Please note that disabling notifications may limit the functionality of study reminders and alarms.

Free Tier

StudentHub offers a free tier with access to core study features. The free tier may include usage limitations and display advertisements.

Premium Subscriptions

Premium features may be offered through subscription plans. Subscription details, including pricing and features, will be clearly displayed before purchase.

Billing & Refunds

• Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel at any time through your platform's subscription management
• Refunds are handled in accordance with platform policies (Apple App Store or Google Play)

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect active subscriptions until the next renewal period.

By You

You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Account deletion is permanent and will remove all personal data within 30 days.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Create a risk of legal exposure for us
• Remain inactive for an extended period

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the App will be revoked
• Your content may be deleted or anonymized
• Any outstanding subscriptions will not be refunded (subject to platform policies)
• Sections of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect

Disclaimer

StudentHub is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Study Content

StudentHub is a study tool platform. We do not verify the accuracy of user-generated study content. You are responsible for verifying the correctness of any academic information you rely on.

Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudentHub and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Any damages exceeding the amount you paid to use the App in the preceding 12 months

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. We will notify you of material changes through:

• In-app notifications
• Email to your registered address
• A prominent notice within the App

Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
